“Best Curry in Town”

We have lived in Scarborough for almost 2 years-this restaurant is fantastic,we visited on Sunday evening with our son and daughter in law and the food and service were first class,Naz looked after us from start to finish, the restaurant is modern and bright and ideally placed, next to the Casino and the North Street car park, the food is out of this world,so you know where to go

“A very nice restaurant”

Staying in scarborough over the weekend decided to have a curry and after reading the reviews on here decided on tandoori nights. We had a very nice meal our mains were butter chicken massala and garlic chilli chicken and both were very good. Not bad value either we went for the 2 starters 2 mains 2 rice naan and side dish for £30. The staff were really friendly and will definitely go there again.

“Great night out”

On a days visit from Sheffield and had recommendation from hotel to come here. Knowing a lot about curries we were not disappointed. Four of us all had different dishes and these were all very tasty and well presented. The dishes mainly went for taste as opposed to heat but if spicy is your preference just ask for more chillies and they will oblige. Service and staff were excellent and very helpful nothing too much trouble. Definitely will come here again.

“Well worth a visit”

On a quiet Wednesday evening at 7.30pm, it was empty and we wondered whether we should eat elsewhere, but were really pleased we gave it a chance. The waiters sprang into action and within a few minutes, we had our drinks and were tucking into an excellent pickle tray with substantial well cooked poppadoms. I opted for a lamb garlic chilli curry (with extra green chillis for heat) and my wife, her favourite lamb and okra. The food was absolutely spot on and unusually for my curry (I don't know why) it had some whole garlic cloves which gave a lovely sweetness to the dish. Well done chef. If anything, the portion of pilau rice was perhaps a tad small for sharing - our fault for not asking, but the naan was tasty and fresh although not crisp at all. Along with our bill, we were offered and accepted a brandy on the house. Deserves to do well.
